Acorn Gymnastics Club can be found in Cranleigh on Sunday and Ewell on Fridays. Acorn is a recreational club offering gymnastics to children aged 3 years plus who would like to train between 45 minutes and 2 hours a week. We are a club that prides itself on offering all children the opportunity to reach their potential within the sport.

Acorn Gym Club (Club Ewell) was set up in 1987 at St Clements School in Ewell. The club moved to The Rainbow Centre, Epsom, in 1992 and back to Ewell (at the Harrier Centre) in 2001, where it has remained ever since. Club Cranleigh (formerly a part of 'SWGC Gymnastics') has been in the Cranleigh area since 2001. The Cranleigh club became a part of Acorn Gym Club in 2021.

Acorn Gymnastics Club is a general recreational gymnastics club that exists to promote the sport of gymnastics in its local community. The club is open to children of all ages, gender, ethnic background and physical ability.

The club also encourages gymnasts to partake in regional competitions. Outstanding and potential elite gymnasts will be referred to clubs with Elite squads when outstanding potential talent is identified.

All our coaches are British Gymnastics qualified, DBS checked, and are friendly to each child's individual needs. There is a fully qualified Welfare Officer at the venue.

Coaches are trained in General, Trampolining, Womens Artistic, Sports Acro, Pre School, and just as importantly First Aid. Coaches range from Level 1 (Assistant Coach) to Level 3 (Club Coach).

Head coach Luke Gale is a qualified Level 3 General Gymnastics Coach and Trampoline Coach. Luke has participated in Gymnastics since the age of five at Acorn GC as well as Tolworth GC. He started coaching at Acorn in 1992 and has been leading the classes since 2003. Luke started Gymnastics Mentor in 2014 and Acorn GC has been the first club to utilise the key components of this resource.
